(3) Look at the cards and perform the actions.
Step3: Presentation
(1) Let’s read. The teacher asks: Do you remember Dalin, Xiaolin, Zhang Shu and Zhang Ren? They are twins. They look the same. Today, you’ll go to know two more twins. Show the pictures and point at the foreign girls: Look at the two girls. This girl has long hair. That girl has long hair, too. This girl has two big eyes. That girl has big eyes, too. They look the same. What is she doing? She’s drawing pictures. What about the other girl? What is she doing? She’s writing an e-mail. What are their hobbies? Now let’s read an e-mail. Read the first e-mail in the book.

(1) Read the words in card of Part A Let’s learn.
(2) Listen and follow the tape of A Let’s read.
(3) Dialogue practice: Where are you from? What do you do on Mondays/in the evening? How do you go to school? Do you go to school by subway? Do you read newspapers in the evening?
Step3: Presentation
(1) Let’s learn. Write the word “live” on the board and say: “I live in Tongxiang. Where do you live?” Show a picture of a fish and ask: what is this? Does it live in the sky? Help the Ss to answer: No, it doesn’t. It lives in rivers. Add “s” behind the word “live” and read. Show some more animals and ask. T: Does your father/mother/pen pal live in Tongxiang?
